Tauranga Girls' College (TGC) is seeking an experienced, dynamic, and forward-thinking Business Manager to join our senior leadership team. With a vibrant student body of 1500 and over 120 dedicated staff, TGC is committed to our vision of 'empowering learners to make a positive impact.'

 About the Role

This is a permanent, full-time leadership position responsible for the strategic and financial oversight of the College.

The Business Manager holds direct responsibility for:

• Financial Management: Strategic oversight, planning, and reporting.
• Property & Facilities: Management of all College assets, grounds, and capital projects.
• Human Resources (HR): Leadership and management of support staff HR functions.

 Key Attributes & Skills We Are Looking For:

The ideal candidate will possess a blend of strategic insight and practical experience:

• Exceptional Business Acumen:The ability to drive efficiency and strategic financial decision-making.
• Senior Accounting Experience: Proven track record at a senior level (relevant qualification preferred).
• Outstanding Communication: The ability to engage effectively with the Board, Principal, staff, and external stakeholders.
• Project Management Expertise (Property): Demonstrated success in managing property portfolios and capital works.
• AI Innovation Focus: A proactive approach to leveraging technology (including AI) to enhance administrative efficiency (We are a Google school).

The Details

Position Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Remuneration: Up to $120,000 per annum (Grade 7 of the Support Staff Collective)

Start Date:  March (negotiable)
