Food Technology Teacher


Tauranga Girls' College is seeking an enthusiastic, creative, and future-focused Food Technology educator to join our well-resourced Technology Learning Area. We are a vibrant, inclusive PB4L and Restorative school committed to empowering learners to impact the world positively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging practical and theoretical lessons across food design, food science, and nutrition.

     

  • Teach across multiple year levels, with a strong emphasis on senior Food Technology.

     

  • Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive environment with high standards of food safety.

     

  • Collaborate with colleagues to strengthen programs, innovate, and contribute to wider school culture.

     

Requirements:
  • Current NZ Teaching Council practicing certificate.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and foster student creativity and problem-solving.
  • Open to both experienced and beginning teachers.
