Inclusion and Engagement Lead
The Inclusion and Engagement Lead is a pilot role that has been created to support the Pastoral team and more specifically, the SENCO and Deans to support re-engagement. This person will have an empathy for inclusion. Understands that learning is not the same for everyone but with guidance, encouragement and agreement from agencies, colleagues and families, ākonga can thrive in our College. This person will have a restorative skill set, use data to inform next steps and be able to engage with outside providers to support transition, inclusion and engagement. They hold high expectations and use our Colleges Uara/Values as a framework for their mahi.
In addition to the role, Inclusion and Engagement, there is a Data Tracking (3 hrs) need and additional teaching hours (Flexi and Te Kura/online inclusion) associated with this position.

This position is fixed term, part time and comes with additional remuneration of 2 x Middle Management Allowances (MMA).
Commencing on 28 January 2026. This role is suitable for experienced teachers.
The successful applicant will hold a current practicing certificate issued by the New Zealand Teaching Council.
