We're on the lookout for two fantastic, friendly Inclusive Learning Assistants (ILA) to become a vital part of our supportive school whānau! These roles are all about making a real difference—you'll be the champion who helps our students with diverse needs feel included, happy, and successful in their learning journey.

The Details on the Role:

This is aterm-time only position, requiring 27.0 hours per week. The schedule is structured as 5.24 hours per day, worked over five days a week. This is made up of:

  • 15 hours per week on a Permanent contract.

  • 12.0  hours per week on a Fixed-Term until 11 December 2026 (with the potential for extension).

     

Start Date: By negotiation, preferably as soon as possible

Grade: This role is in Grade B-C of the Support Staff in Schools' Collective Agreement 2026-2028

 

What You'll Be Doing Day-to-Day:

    • Classroom Crew & Learning Guides: Assisting students with their learning.

    • Well-being Whiz & Safety Star: Focusing on student well-being, confidence, and independence.

    • Team Player & Communicator: Collaborating effectively within the school whānau.

    • Being a Role Model: Setting a positive example for students.
