We're on the lookout for a fantastic, friendly Inclusive Learning Assistant (ILA) to become a vital part of our supportive school whānau! This role is all about making a real difference—you'll be the champion who helps our students with diverse needs feel included, happy, and successful in their learning journey.If you love working with young people, cheering them on, and helping them build confidence and independence, then this is the perfect opportunity for you! Plus, you get the school holidays off!
The Details on the Role:
This is a term-time only position, requiring26.4 hours per week. The schedule is structured as 5.28 hours per day, worked over five days a week. This is made up of:- 15 hours per weekon a Permanentcontract.
- 11.40 hours per weekon a Fixed-Term contract(with the potential for extension).
What You'll Be Doing Day-to-Day:
Classroom Crew & Learning Guides: Assisting students with their learning.
Well-being Whiz & Safety Star: Focusing on student well-being, confidence, and independence.
Team Player & Communicator:Collaborating effectively within the school whānau.
Being a Role Model: Setting a positive example for students.
