Social Science Teacher

Tauranga Girls' College is seeking an enthusiastic, creative, and future-focused Social Science educator to join our well-resourced Social Science Learning Area. We are an inclusive PB4L and Restorative school committed to empowering learners to make a positive impact on the world.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach a combination of junior and senior classes
  • Potentially teach multiple Social Science subjects. Please state all subjects you have experience teaching.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to strengthen programmes, innovate, and contribute to wider school culture.

     

Requirements:
  • Current NZ Teaching Council practicing certificate.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and foster student creativity and problem-solving.
  • Open to both experienced and beginning teachers.
