Te Reo Māori & Social Science Teacher

Tauranga Girls' College is seeking an enthusiastic, creative, and future-focused Māori educator to join our well-resourced Māori  Learning Area. We are an inclusive PB4L and Restorative school committed to empowering learners to impact the world positively. Please state your strengths in both Te Reo and Social Science.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach a combination of junior and senior classes in more than one learning area.
• Collaborate with colleagues to strengthen programmes, innovate, and contribute to wider school culture.

   

• Current NZ Teaching Council practicing certificate.
• Ability to build strong relationships and foster student creativity and problem-solving.
• Open to both experienced and beginning teachers.
• Level of fluency in Te Reo Māori.
