Technology - Food, Culinary Arts & Early Childhood Education


Tauranga Girls' College is a vibrant and inclusive school dedicated to empowering our learners to have a positive impact on the world. We are a place of discovery, and we are looking for a flexible, creative, and future focused educator to join our Technology Learning Area. 

We are looking for a teacher who will bring experience and a strong interest in teaching Food Technology and Culinary Arts, along with knowledge of or willingness to teach Early Childhood Education. 

 

The ideal candidate will be adept at catering for diversity and will support the school’s strategic goals, as well as the wider changes in the New Zealand Curriculum and the new education qualification system.

The ability to work in a way that is reflective, supportive, and collaborative with a strong commitment to enabling the success of all students, including a focus on Māori and Pasifika achievement.

We are a PB4L (Positive Behaviour for Learning), and a Restorative school. We value extra-curricular opportunities and look forward to your contribution in this area.

This position is fixed term, full-time role commencing 28 January 2026 to 27 January 2027. This role is suitable for both experienced and beginning teachers. 

The successful applicant will hold a current practicing certificate issued by the New Zealand Teaching Council.
